藝術家 Mandy Chen，在青少年時期移居到澳洲，畢業於昆士蘭科技大學室內設計學位，並於2022年曾獲得雙年度北昆士蘭陶瓷獎中的人民選擇獎。
她的藝術靈感來源自生活在偏僻島嶼的Quandamooka人民，他們對於大自然的尊重與和諧共存的態度。啟迪了Mandy經由陶瓷實現自然環境中千變萬化的現象。
而作品融合了兩個主題：我們星球脆弱的生態狀況、傳承祖先精湛工藝的衷心願望。並透過生活中觀察、學習和自我探索的旅程，表現對於環境生態的敘事與重視。
Artist Mandy Chen moved to Australia as a teenager. Graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a degree in Interior Design and won the People’s Choice Award - Biennial North Queensland Ceramic Awards in 2022.
Mandy’s artistic inspiration from the Quandamooka people who live on an isolated island, their respect for nature and their attitude towards harmonious coexistence, inspired Mandy to realize the ever-changing phenomenon of the natural environment through ceramics.
Yet her work combines two themes: the fragile ecological state of our planet and a heartfelt desire to channel the masterful craftsmanship of my ancestors. And through the journey of observation, learning and self-exploration in life, expressing the narratives and emphasis on environmental ecology.
